- The Orioles' 6-2 loss to the Tampa Bay Rays on Wednesday night painted an all too familiar picture for the team¿s starting rotation.
- Chris Tillman has been put on the 15-day disabled list with left abdominal strain retroactive to March 22. He will be able to come off the DL on April 6 and pitch the Orioles' fifth game of the season against the Minnesota Twins.
- Orioles farmhand Jesse Beal gets the start against David Price.
- Zach Britton threw six shutout innings and the Orioles escaped rally in the bottom of the ninth to beat the Cleveland Indians, 4-3, for their fifth straight win.
- It has been a busy weekend already, but the Orioles made a couple more roster moves on Sunday morning, optioning outfielder Xavier Avery to Triple-A Norfolk to finish making room for the arrival of newly acquired DH Jim Thome and the recall of reliever Miguel Gonzalez. The O's already had optioned pitcher Tommy Hunter to Norfolk on Saturday night.
