“I'll say this: There's no question that the best quarterback thing to do would be to keep Robert Griffin," Ravens coach John Harbaugh said Thursday. - The St. Louis Rams won't have one of their top pass rushers against the Ravens Sunday as Robert Quinn has been ruled out.
- The Ravens will already have reserve guard John Urschel starting at center against the St. Louis Rams. They may also need a fill-in for starting guard Kelechi Osemele who is questionable to play.
- At every stop in his young football career, undrafted rookie James Hurst hasn't had much time to settle in before being thrust into a starting role. In both high school and college, it turned out he was ready the moment he walked onto the field, and the Ravens are hoping the same proves true on Sunday when he starts in place of left tackle Eugene Monroe, who underwent knee surgery on Wednesday.
- It has been fun watching Terrell Suggs and Elvis Dumervil chase after quarterbacks together. And after Suggs got off to a fast start, Dumervil closed the gap in that sack race with three sacks on Sunday.
