A state appeals court has ruled against opponents of a large supermarket at a proposed shopping center in Ellicott City, deciding that they failed to garner enough petition signatures to place the zoning approval for the large grocery store in Turf Valley before Howard County voters.
I have had my disagreements with Keith Olbermann the last few years, but I have watched mostly with admiration as night after night he has covered the Occupy protest movement like no one else in the media.
The Occupy movement has no stated list of demands, so it also has no end point. How will groups like Occupy Baltimore know when its met its as-yet undefined goals and can go home? And, while the city has generally let the group squat on city property, at what point will it decide to clear the tents?
