A fundraising committee has been set up for Baltimore County Councilman David Marks' plan to install a monument to Persian Gulf veterans. The committee will be at the Towsontown Spering Festival, Marks said.

One hundred residents joined elected and American Legion officials at the Wayside Cross in Towson to commemorate Memorial Day on Sunday afternoon.
