I'm pleased to announce that I will be bringing back my weekly fantasy football column this fall. Why am I so pleased? Because it gives me an excuse to tinker with my fantasy football teams when I'm on the clock.
Because traditional statistics are no longer good enough for the Worldwide Leader, the folks over at ESPN have invented a new quarterback rating system that they will undoubtedly cram down our throats for the next six months. Get ready for a hearty helping of Total Quarterback Rating (aka QBR).
Ravens quarterback Joe Flacco had a fine season in 2010, passing for 3,622 yards and 25 touchdowns. He led the Ravens to another playoff win, but he literally caved under pressure in the 31-24 loss to the Steelers in the divisional round. Flacco was sacked five times, lost a fumble and tossed an interception. We know the Steelers like to blitz, but did other teams take the same aggressive approach against Flacco?
