The Tewaaraton Foundation has named former Cornell University men's coach and Maryland player Richie Moran as the recipient of the Spirit of Tewaaraton Award. Moran will be honored at the Tewaaraton Award Ceremony on May 31 at the Smithsonian Institution's National Museum of the American Indian in Washington.

Youth lacrosse players from the Freedom Area Recreation Council squared off against Hereford squads — and also took part in a clinic with professionals from Major League Lacrosse — in a special event held March 10 at M&T Bank Stadium in Baltimore.
Harvard senior long-stick midfielder Dan DiMaria has a torn anterior cruciate ligament and will be out the rest of the year, a source confirmed to Inside Lacrosse. DiMaria intends to graduate from Harvard this year as scheduled and using his remaining year of eligibility at either Johns Hopkins or an Atlantic Coast Conference school.
The times have been set for NCAA championship weekend at Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, Mass. Saturday, May 26: DI Semis, 2:30 and 5 p.m.; Sunday, May 27: DII Championship, noon; DIII Championship, 3 p.m.; Monday, May 28: DI Championship, 1 p.m.
