The Aberdeen wrestling team posted a tri-meet sweep Wednesday at home to begin the 2016 part of the schedule. - Pins and forfeits were aplenty Wednesday evening in Perryville where the Panthers hosted the Edgewood Rams in dual meet wrestling action.
- The Edgewood Rams were back on the mat Tuesday, hosting North East in an UCBAC dual meet. The Indians defeated the Rams, 51-26. North East had an 9-5 advantage in bouts won.
- Free-agent hitter Jack Cust arrived at Orioles minicamp on Tuesday for a tryout and will remain here working out for the next two days.
