Strand of Oaks, the indie-rock vehicle for Indiana singer/songwriter Tim Showalter, Pennsylvania alt-country rockers Marah and Nashville six-piece Kopecky are set to perform May 7 at Canton Waterfront Park, radio station WTMD announced on Tuesday, for the season's opening First Thursdays concert.

WTMD's First Thursdays concert series kicks off this week with The Lone Bellow, The Great American Canyon Band and Bobby Long.
