Orioles right-hander Jake Arrieta kept his fastball low Wednesday against the New York Yankees.

SARASOTA, Fla. -- Orioles left-hander Brian Matusz threw two scoreless innings in his first spring start, overcoming a pair of singles to open the game to retire the final five batters he faced.

The Orioles return home today to host the Yankees for a 1:05 p.m. game at Ed Smith Stadium.

Before an announced crowd of 18,587, the Baltimore Orioles' Zach Britton struggled with his control against the free-swinging Toronto Blue Jays, throwing just 47 of his season-low 81 pitches for strikes.
