Winfield Parker will be bringing 57 years of R&B to the Maryland Traditions Folklife Festival - Wendell Holmes, a singer, pianist and songwriter who performed gospel, country, blues, and rhythm and blues music as a member of the famed Holmes Brothers trio, died June 19 of pulmonary hypertension at his Rosedale home. He was 71.
