On an unusually warm night for the ninth week of the high school football season, the action didn't cool off either.

The eighth week of UCBAC football matchups did not disappoint, as unbeaten Fallston handed Perryville its third straight loss, beating the Panthers 38-6, and the Aberdeen Eagles thumped Havre de Grace, 43-13, in a Route 40 showdown. Bel Air won its cross-town matchup with Patterson Mill, 28-7, North Harford bashed C. Milton Wright, 53-26, Joppatowne came through with a 20-14 victory over North east, and Edgewood topped Harford Tech, 46-20, to round out play for the evening.

Despite persistent rain showers and soggy fields throughout Harford County, week six of the high school football season is in the books for all 10 public high schools.
