John Daly, Jack Nicklaus, PGA Tour Champions, Constellation Energy, Caves Valley - For the second time in a month, David Hutsell teed his ball up as defending champion Monday at the 91st Maryland Open, the state's top golf tournament for professionals and amateurs. This year's tournament is being contested at Old South Country Club in Lothian.
- A year ago David Hutsell used a two-hole playoff to record his biggest golf tournament win ever in the 2011 PGA Professional National Championship in Hershey, Pa. Wednesday, the Havre de Grace native and PGA director of instruction at Elkridge Club in Baltimore, closed out play in the 2012 PGA Professional National Championship in Seaside, Calif. on the Bayonet and Black Horse Golf Courses.
