This week 15 years ago, the first Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival was held in California, "House Hunters" premiered on HGTV and the following songs were the most popular in the United States, according to Billboard's Hot 100 chart archive.

10. "Scar Tissue," Red Hot Chili Peppers

"Scar Tissue" was the lead single off the Peppers' huge, sort-of comeback album "Californication." It was reportedly written by Anthony Kiedis about the return of bandmate John Frusciante (it's also the title of Kiedis' 2004 autobiography).
