As of March 1 the Lansdowne and Arbutus recreation offices merged into one, but that will have little affect on the existing recreation programs the offices offer, said Barry Williams, the director of Baltimore County's Department of Recreation and Parks.

The Maryland City Recreation Council's Mustangs Soccer program started off a great season over the last two weeks with soccer games occurring every Friday night at the Maryland City Park field under the lights, and on Sunday afternoons on the field near the dog park.
