No link between antidepressants and violence

I was disappointed that The Sun printed Patrick D. Hahn's commentary on the role antidepressants may have played in the crash of Germanwings Flight 9525 ("Antidepressants: a deadly treatment?" April 11).

There is nothing wrong with asking questions about possible adverse effects of medications, but we need to do so in a calm and scientific way.

There are plenty of studies showing that there is no link between antidepressants and violence. I recommend looking up articles through Google Scholar or through the National Library of Medicine. There are research studies...
