- Jamie Moyer, the 49-year-old lefty who may or may not pitch for the Orioles, was not with Triple-A Norfolk yesterday in Toledo. He is apparently deciding whether he wants to take the Orioles¿ offer for another start in the minors or look for another organization.
- Dontrelle Willis is back and is pitching against Toledo. But that is not the crazy part. What¿s crazy is this: Willis becomes the 17th different pitcher to start a game for the Tides this year.
- Betemit's splits at Turner Field are the best of any ballpark in the majors where he has at least 100 career at bats. Betemit is 67-for-212 in Atlanta, hitting .316/.393/.472 with five homers and 17 RBIs .

They'll need to pick a fifth starter agains for Saturday's game against the Braves.
- When Jake Arrieta was named the Orioles' Opening Day starter this season, he talked about the magnitude of the honor and the leadership responsibility it carried. But the 26-year-old right-hander has looked lost for much of the season.

- Saturday¿s starter has still not been determined. Jake Arrieta will pitch Friday and Jason Hammel will pitch Sunday against the Philadelphia Phillies. Lefty Zach Britton pitches today for Triple-A Norfolk, so he is not an option.
