Rain showers could turn into snow Tuesday as another blast of unseasonably frigid air moves into the Baltimore region. A dusting of accumulation is possible around the area.

Baltimore broke its daily low temperature record Saturday morning. And temperatures could stay low next week, with the National Weather Service predicting days that could feel more like January.

The season’s first flurries fell Friday morning northwest of Baltimore as a stretch of wintry cold begins. Snow chances next week appear iffy, though.

Wintry cold is in the forecast for Baltimore this month, and meteorologists say that could mean a chance for some snow showers as early as Monday or Tuesday.

Heavy rain, gusty winds and a possibility for tornadoes may hamper trick-or-treating in the Baltimore region Thursday.
