- Homewood Museum at Johns Hopkins University has spent more than $100K to restore an 1801 outhouse, once used by the Charles Carroll family and later by students at the Country School for Boys, a precursor to the Gilman School. Students left graffiti, and the museum preserved that too. The public can see it as part of tours this summer and a Sept. 27 ribbon-cutting is planned.
