A federal investigator has found that Maryland's Medicaid program had a 95 percent error rate in seeking reimbursement for room and board for the developmentally disabled and thus owes the U.S. government nearly $21 million.
Laurel Police Chief Richard McLaughlin announced five appointees to his Citizens Advisory Committee for Ward 2 on Oct. 15. The appointees are Roy Gilmore, Amna Mohyuddin, Shavoune Desper, Lorse Redfield and Brian Cox. They will serve as volunteers on the committee for two-year terms.
