Jefferson Bancorp Inc., parent of Lutherville-based Bay Bank, said Monday it had completed its acquisition of Carrollton Bancorp, the holding company of Columbia-based Carrollton Bank. - About 40 youths from the Freestate ChalleNGe Academy finished up their morning of cleaning refuse from the marshlands of the Melvin G. Bosely Wildlife Conservancy tired, muddy and hungry, but their contributions to the 22nd annual cleanup of the marsh were invaluable to the organizers of Saturday's event.
- The cleanup day is scheduled Saturday, March 23, from 9 a.m. to noon, rain or shine, at the conservancy. Volunteers should meet at the end of Perry Avenue in Edgewood at the entrance to the Bosely Conservancy.
