In a sentencing memorandum, former Baltimore County School Superintendent Dallas Dance asks for leniency before his sentencing this Friday.

Former Baltimore County school superintendent Dallas Dance was indicted today on four counts of perjury for failing to disclose pay he received for private consulting with several companies and school districts beginning in 2012, the Maryland State Prosecutor announced.

Federal authorities are investigating SUPES Academy, an Illinois-based company that has trained school officials in Baltimore County and around the country, for a $20 million contract it has with the Chicago Public Schools.
