-- Class of 2014 linebacker commit Tyler Burke had a catch and a sack a 21-10 win last Friday.
-- Class of 2014 athlete commit Will Ulmer was 2-for-4 passing for 10 yards and had 16 carries for 75 yards and the game-winning touchdown in a 15-14 win Saturday.
-- Class of 2014 safety target Shawn Boone will take an official visit to Penn State on Nov. 22. Boone is visiting Maryland officially this weekend.
-- Class of 2014 defensive end/linebacker target Melvin Keihn (Gilman) is also taking his official visit to Maryland this weekend. According to a Rivals.com paywall-ed article, Keihn is mainly considering Virginia, Virginia Tech and Maryland.
-- Class of 2014 offensive line target Damian Prince told 247Sports.com that Florida is recruiting him the hardest.
Basketball recruiting
-- Maryland’s coaching staff was out at WCAC power Paul VI (Va.) for an open gym Wednesday night, presumably to check up on Class of 2015 targets Marcus Derrickson and Franklin Howard.
