Time: 12 p.m.

Site: Memorial Stadium, Clemson, S.C.

Radio: 105.7 FM, 1300 AM

Series: Clemson leads 30-26-2.

Last meeting: Maryland defeated Clemson, 24-21, on Oct. 3, 2009 in College Park.

Maryland offense vs. Clemson defense: Tigers have lost three in a row (Auburn, Miami, North Carolina). Terps have won the past two Death Valley meetings. Clemson's penetrating defense is led by junior DE Da'Quan Bowers, who leads the ACC — and is in the top five in the nation — in sacks and tackles for loss. "He can run over you and around you," Maryland coach Ralph Friedgen said. Terps QB Jamarr Robinson (shoulder) is healthy after the bye week and may split time with Danny O'Brien, who has started past two games. TE Devonte Campbell (knee) expected to make season debut.

Clemson offense vs. Maryland defense: Clemson has run the ball on 55 percent of plays. RB Andre Ellington ranks third in the conference with 87 yards rushing per game. Tigers may get a lift from halftime ceremony retiring former RB C.J. Spiller's jersey No. 28. Terps will rely heavily on their best unit — the linebackers — vs. Clemson rush. LBs Alex Wujciak and Adrian Moten both rank in top five of ACC in tackles.
