Maryland offense vs. West Virginia defense: Maryland plans to start QB Jamarr Robinson and again look for opportunities to play backup Danny O'Brien. The Terps hope to get TE Will Yeatman (broken finger) back although he is likely to play with a heavy wrap. On special teams, Terps will try to spring Tony Logan, who had 128 punt return yards in a 62-3 win over Morgan State and is off to his best career start. West Virginia's 3-3-5 defense is led by S Terence Garvin (Loyola) with 17 tackles. Mountaineers starting CB Brandon Hogan is out after his suspension because of a drunken-driving charge.

West Virginia offense vs. Maryland defense: Maryland will key on three players — QB Geno Smith (532 passing yards, three touchdowns, one interception), RB Noel Devine (111.5 yards per game), and WR Tavon Austin (Dunbar), who has 14 catches for 175 yards. The speedy Devine has 11 career runs longer than 50 yards. The balanced Mountaineers have finished with at least 400 yards in both their games, mixing 81 runs with 77 passes. The Terps are led by senior LB Alex Wujciak, averaging 10.6 tackles per game during career.
