Navy (in Baltimore): Terps and Midshipmen have played only 20 times (Navy leads, 14-6), but there have been some memorable and intense games between teams that could become true rivals.
Morgan State: Terps will face Bears on just four days' rest. It's the first time the universities -- located just 36 miles apart -- have played in football. Maryland fans sure remember losing to Bears in men's basketball in 2009.
Fla. International: Terps have had problems in recent years against mid-majors. Florida International is from same conference (Sun Belt) as Maryland nemesis Middle Tennessee State.
At Clemson: Maryland's last visit to Death Valley resulted in upset win that helped cost Tommy Bowden his coaching job.
At Boston College: Eagles picked third in the Atlantic Division by ACC media -- three slots ahead of Terps.
Wake Forest: Demon Deacons put up 42 points on Terps last season, but QB Riley Skinner, who picked Maryland apart, is gone.
At Miami: Hurricanes have a loaded roster and a loaded schedule (at Ohio State, at Pitt) before facing Terps.
Florida State: Dadgum it, you mean Bobby Bowden is no longer coaching these guys?
North Carolina State: It's the Debbie Yow Bowl. Maryland's former athletic director has assumed the same position at N.C. State, where coach Tom O'Brien was 5-7 last season and could find himself on the hot seat.
