Four Maryland players were invited to the NBA draft combine to be held May 11-15, a league source confirmed Saturday night.

Guard Melo Trimble, center Diamond Stone, forward Robert CarterJr. and forward Jake Layman have been extended invitations to be evaluated by NBA talent evaluators in Chicago; guard Rasheed Sulaimon was not.

Three of the four players asked to the combine are locked in to the draft, with Trimble being the only one yet to hire representation. He must decide by May 25 whether to enter the draft, and the combine could go a long way toward helping determine whether to leave Maryland or return for his junior season.

The Washington Post first reported that the four Terps were invited to the event.
