The Philadelphia 76ers closed out the Utah Summer League with a 1-2 record after beating the San Antonio Spurs 94-86 Thursday night.
The bad news: For the second time in three games, former Maryland point guard Melo Trimble didn't see the floor. He sat on the bench the entire game.
In his one appearance in the summer league, Trimble played 10 minutes Wednesday night and scored three points. The good news for the Sixers is that No. 1 overall draft pick Markelle Fultz of Washington averaged 20 points in two games and filled up the stat sheet.
The Sixers move to Las Vegas for summer league there and face the Golden State Warriors on Saturday (10:30 p.m., ESPN).
If Trimble makes the trip, it might be his last chance to make an impression.
