When St. Frances senior offensive lineman Jaelyn Duncan signed a letter of intent in late December, he became Maryland’s highest-rated recruit in its Class of 2018, a distinction that history has not always smiled on.

For every Stefon Diggs or Randy Starks, there's a Titus Till or Dominique Herald, recruiting-haul headliners who never amounted to much in College Park.
