Maryland sophomore forward Justin Jackson has been selected to the preseason All-Big Ten team, which was announced Thursday.

Jackson was one of 10 players selected. Michigan State sophomore forward Miles Bridges was voted preseason Player of the Year.

Not a single Maryland player got a vote for first-team All-Big Ten honors.

Joining Jackson and Bridges on the team were Michigan State sophomore center Nick Ward, Minnesota sophomore forward Amir Coffey and senior guard Nate Mason, Michigan junior center Mo Wagner, Purdue senior forward Vince Edwards, Wisconsin junior center Ethan Happ, and Northwestern senior guards Scottie Lindsey and Bryant McIntosh.

It marks the third straight year that a Maryland player was named to the preseason team. Former Terps star Melo Trimble was named before his sophomore and junior years, and was named the preseason Player of the Year two years ago.
