Football recruiting

-- Class of 2015 center target Diamond Stone is poised to become the 25th player in Wisconsin high school basketball history to reach 2,000 career points.
-- Class of 2016 guard target Markelle Fultz was named Washington Catholic Athletic Conference Player of the Year. He was on DeMatha's junior varsity last season.
-- Class of 2017 forward target Myles Douglas (Friends) was offered by Maryland on Thursday. Douglas, who recently visited College Park for the game against Indiana, is reportedly the first in-state Class of 2017 prospect to garner a Terps offer.
-- Class of 2018 wing prospect Montez Mathis (Mount Carmel) was named third-team All-Baltimore Catholic League.
