In this week's recruiting roundup, the Diamond Stone saga takes another turn.

Football recruiting

-- Class of 2015 quarterback Gage Shaffer went 8-for-10 for 124 passing yards, two touchdowns and an interception in a 49-28 win last Friday.

-- Class of 2015 running back commit Ty Johnson had five carries for 151 yards and three touchdowns in a 46-8 win last Thursday.

-- Class of 2015 wide receiver commit D.J. Moore had at least one touchdown catch in a 62-14 win Saturday.

-- Class of 2015 wide receiver commit Jahrvis Davenport had six catches for 143 yards, including a 69-yard touchdown, in a 41-23 loss last Thursday.

-- Class of 2015 linebacker commit Brett Zanotto had a 69-yard catch and a 1-yard rushing score in a 28-21 loss Friday.

-- Class of 2015 linebacker commit Isaiah Davis had six carries for 92 yards and four touchdowns in a 52-22 win last Thursday.

Basketball recruiting

-- ESPN's Jeff Goodman is bullish on the Terps' chances to land Class of 2015 center prospect Diamond Stone.

-- Class of 2015 point guard target Justin Robinson reportedly is no longer being recruited by Maryland. The three-star prospect is expected to announce his commitment this weekend.

-- Class of 2015 junior college point guard target Jaylen Brantley, not unrelatedly, reportedly will take an official visit to Maryland during Maryland Madness next weekend.
