-- Class of 2014 offensive line target Damian Prince has visited only Maryland and Florida State officially, but South Carolina reportedly is becoming a "factor" in his recruitment, according to Rivals.com's Mike Farrell.

-- Class of 2014 offensive line target Brock Ruble, who visited Maryland last weekend and will be in Raleigh, N.C., for this weekend's Terps-North Carolina State game, said in an interview with the official DeMatha Stags YouTube channel that "I really don't have a deadline for you or anything like that, but as soon as i know, so will everyone else."

-- Class of 2014 wide receiver commit Juwann Winfree finished second in an NJ.com poll asking, "Who is the best wide receiver/tight end in the state?"

-- Class of 2014 safety commit Jordan Noil had a fumble recovery in a 32-9 win last Friday. With the win, defending state champion Norcross advanced to the state quarterfinals.

Basketball recruiting

-- Class of 2016 guard prospect Curtis Jones, who already claims offers from several Atlantic Coast Conference schools, has visited Maryland twice and said he "really like[s] the school."
