Three former Maryland players will have an opportunity to improve their draft stock at the NFL Scouting Combine, which runs Feb. 17-23 in Indianapolis.

Wide receiver Stefon Diggs, wide receiver Deon Long and outside linebacker Yannik Cudjoe-Virgil (Towson High) are all listed on the official combine invite list that was released this week.

Diggs led Maryland in catches (62), receiving yards (792) and touchdown receptions (five) despite missing three games.

CBS Sports projects the 6-foot, 190-pound Gaithersburg native to be a fourth- or fifth-round draft pick.

A former five-star recruit, Long posted modest numbers last season — 51 catches for 575 yards and two touchdowns — but improved his stock with a strong showing at the East-West Shrine Game in January.

Former NFL scout Russ Lande told the Baltimore Sun Media Group during the week of the East-West Shrine Game that he could see Long being selected as early as the third or fourth round.

A former walk-on, Cudjoe-Virgil was one of just three outside linebackers from the Big Ten on the watch list for the Butkus Award, given annually to the top linebacker in college football.

However, Cudjoe-Virgil suffered a foot injury during preseason practice that caused him to miss the first three games of the year, and he served primarily as a rotational player once he returned as sophomore outside linebacker Yannick Ngakoue emerged as a playmaker.

The 6-foot-2, 250-pound Cudjoe-Virgil finished with 21 tackles and two sacks in 10 games.

CBS Sports does not project Cudjoe-Virgil to be drafted.
