Terps receiver Ricardo Young suspended for Military Bowl

Maryland wide receiver Ricardo Young violated team rules and has been suspended for Friday's Military Bowl, a team official said Tuesday.

Young, who began the season as a reserve quarterback for the Terps, moved to receiver in October after injuries to Deon Long and Stefon Diggs left Maryland thin at the position.

The junior transfer student carried the ball twice this season for seven yards.
