Terps move up to 17th in AP poll

The Maryland men's basketball team jumped five spots in the Associated Press Top 25 media poll Monday, moving up to 17th.

The Terps have won six straight games since a New Year's home loss to Nebraska and share first place in the Big Ten with Wisconsin, which is ranked 10th.

Maryland (19-2, 7-1) plays at Ohio State on Tuesday before returning home to play No. 23 Purdue Saturday at Xfinity Center.

The Boilermakers, who lost at Nebraska on Sunday, will be the first ranked team the Terps have faced this season.
