Maryland's football team addressed two of its primary problem areas Saturday, securing commitments from four-star Class of 2015 offensive guard Quarvez Boulware and Class of 2015 defensive end Oseh Saine.
Sources confirmed both commitments.
The 6-foot-3, 285-pound Boulware (Friendship Collegiate Academy) becomes the latest prospect from Maryland or Washington, D.C., to commit to the Terps, continuing the "hometown movement" Maryland is in the process of building.
Boulware took an official visit to Maryland in December and was in College Park for an unofficial visit this weekend when he committed.
Boulware chose the Terps over offers from Alabama, Auburn, Florida, Wake Forest and others, according to ESPN.
Rivals.com rates Boulware the 14th-best offensive guard in the Class of 2015 and the third-best prospect from Washington.
The 6-foot-4, 275-pound Saine is a Massachusetts native who committed to Boston College last February before the two decided to part ways.
The Terps are in need of talent along the defensive line after losing starting defensive end Andre Monroe, starting nose tackle Darius Kilgo and defensive lineman Keith Bowers, who started the final 10 games of this past season at defensive end after Maryland lost starter Quinton Jefferson to a season-ending knee injury.
Saine is unranked by Rivals and ESPN.
Terrapin Times first reported both commitments.
