Terps' Dez Wells named third-team All-ACC by coaches and media

Maryland junior Dez Wells has been selected to the All-Atlantic Coast Conference third team by both the league's coaches and media.

He's the only Terp honored on this year's list.


Wells enters this week's ACC tournament in Greensboro, N.C., averaging 14.8 points and 4.4 rebounds per game. He scored 18 on Sunday as the Terps (17-14, 9-9 ACC) knocked off Virginia in overtime at Comcast Center.

Baltimore native C.J. Fair (16.9 points, 6.2 rebounds) of Syracuse earned first-team honors from the coaches and media.
