The 6-foot-6, 300-pound Duncan is the third four-star recruit in the Terps' nine-man class; only DeMatha defensive tackle Austin Fontaine is more highly regarded in the Composite rankings. Fellow DeMatha four-star prospect and Maryland pledge Evan Gregory is also an offensive lineman, projected to play guard in College Park.

Duncan, who transferred from Calvert County's Northern to St. Frances for his senior season, committed to coach DJ Durkin over offers from a number of national programs, including Penn State, Ohio State, UCLA and others.
