Following the lead of several Big Ten members, the University of Maryland will begin charging for tickets to home volleyball games and wrestling matches this year.
The athletic department began advertising the sale of tickets for fall and winter "Olympic sports" Friday.
The school will continue to sell tickets for men's and women's soccer.
Jeff Barker reported in June that the school was considering adding a fee to attend volleyball and wrestling matches, but associate athletic director Ryan Bowles said nothing had been decided at the time.
