Maryland wide receivers coach Lee Hull remains in the running for Morgan State's vacant head coaching position, according to a source with knowledge of the situation who said Hull is a finalist.
Morgan State, which has not responded to requests for comment, is expected to hire a new coach early next month.
Maryland is already looking to replace defensive line coach Greg Gattuso, who became Albany's head coach earlier this month, and offensive line coach Tom Brattan, whose contract was not renewed.
In six seasons on the Terps' staff, Hull has seen several of his wide receivers go to the NFL, including Torrey Smith (Ravens) and Darrius Heyward-Bey (Indianapolis Colts). Hull was a wide receiver at Holy Cross from 1984 to 1987.
Morgan State announced in November that Donald Hill-Eley would not return as coach.
