Maryland will be without linebacker Cole Farrand (shoulder) for Saturday's game against Boston College. That's a blow for the Terps, as Farrand is their leading tackler (8.3 per game).
Absent Farrand, Maryland will try to slow Eagles senior running back Andre Williams, who averages 181 yards per game, 6.3 yards per carry and has scored 14 touchdowns this season. He leads the nation with 1,810 rushing yards.
Farrand played last weekend against Virginia Tech, injured his shoulder and then returned. But he's been ruled out for Saturday.
Maryland's front seven is otherwise relatively healthy. Linebacker Alex Twine (shoulder) is listed as probable.
