Maryland men's basketball team stays in top 10 - barely
Seemingly on the brink of getting bounced from the Top 10 for the first time this season after Thursday's loss at Minnesota, Maryland remained there Monday – barely.
The Terps, who broke a two-game losing streak by beating Michigan at Xfinity Center on Sunday, fell from No. 6 to No. 10 in the Associated Press Top 25 media poll and from No. 5 to No. 9 in the USA Today Sports coaches' poll.
Maryland (23-5) is one of three Big Ten teams ranked in the Top 10.
Michigan State (22-5) jumped from eighth in AP and ninth in USA Today Sports to sixth and seventh, respectively.
Iowa (20-6), which was fourth and sixth, respectively, last week, fell to eighth in both polls after losing at Penn State.
