The Maryland men's basketball team is still in the hunt for its top-rated recruiting target in the Class of 2017.Point guard Trevon Duval, a consensus top-10 player in the nation, announced his top 10 choices on Twitter on Monday night. Joining the Terps are California, Oregon, Southern California, Kansas, Villanova, UCLA, Arizona, Seton Hall and St. John's.The 6-foot-3, 175-pound, almost-certain one-and-done prospect recently was named Most Valuable Player of the Under Armour Elite 24, a recruiting showcase hosted in New York by the Baltimore-based company.Maryland is considered a serious contender for Duval, but another Under Armour school, UCLA, is the heavy favorite at the moment, as measured by 247Sports.com's "Crystal Ball" predictions. Duval visited College Park twice last year.Melo Trimble, should he decide to return for the 2017-18 season, would be a senior when Duval enrolls at a college, while Anthony Cowan would be a sophomore.
