Less than a week after signing a consensus Top 20 recruiting class, Maryland football coach DJ Durkin has filled a position of need on his staff.
According to a source with knowledge of the move, Jimmy Brumbaugh will be introduced Monday as the team's new defensive line coach.
Brumbaugh, who worked the past four seasons at Kentucky, replaces Mike London, who left last month to become the head coach at Howard. London, the former head coach at Richmond and Virginia, was also associate head coach under Durkin.
It was also reported by 247InsideMDsports.com that Brumbaugh will serve as co-defensive coordinator with Andy Buh. The two worked together at Kentucky in 2015 when Buh was the team's special teams coordinator.
