Maryland football recently handed out its team awards and posted the recipients on its website.

Ray Crouse Memorial Award, given to the team's most valuable player: Sophomore cornerback Will Likely

Offensive Player of the Year Award: Senior quarterback C.J. Brown

Defensive Player of the Year Award: Senior defensive lineman Andre Monroe

Special Teams Player of the Year Award: Junior kicker Brad Craddock

Dexter McDougle Ultimate Team Player Award: Senior cornerback Jeremiah Johnson

James M. Tatum Award, given to the lineman that competes with intensity, toughness and passion on a daily basis: Senior nose tackle Darius Kilgo

Alvin L. Aubinoe Unsung Hero Award, presented to the player that best displays the true meaning of teamwork without regard for his own personal goals: Senior punter/holder Michael Tart

A.V. Williams Award, given to the player that best displays outstanding and conspicuous sportsmanship during the course of the year: Senior inside linebacker Cole Farrand

Dr. John E. Faber Iron Man Award, awarded to the player with the highest commitment to strength and development: Senior outside linebacker Yannik Cudjoe-Virgil (Towson High School)

Public Service Award: Senior center Sal Conaboy

George Boutselis Memorial Award, presented to the player who lettered in football while attaining the highest GPA on the team and also adhering to the goals of the student-athlete ideal: Sophomore tight end P.J. Gallo

George C. Cook Memorial Award, given to the senior student-athlete that maintains the highest GPA in the year: Brown and punter Nate Renfro.
