Maryland falls to No. 21 in new AP men's college basketball poll

After going down to the wire Saturday in College Park before losing to Purdue by a point, Maryland essentially traded places with the Boilermakers in the latest Associated Press media poll released Monday.

The Terps fell from 17th to 21st, while the Purdue moved up from 23rd to 16th. Wisconsin is the only other Big Ten in the Top 25, moving from No. 10 last week to No. 7 this week.

At 9-1 in the Big Ten, the Badgers are now ahead of 8-2 Maryland by a game. The teams will play Feb. 19 in Madison for their only regular season meeting. The Terps play at Penn State Tuesday.
