Linganore offensive lineman becomes Terps' first commit in Class of 2015

All was not lost for the Maryland football team, not on a night when it received its first commitment for the Class of 2015.

Hours after the Terps fell to No. 9 Clemson, 40-27, Linganore offensive lineman E.J. Donahue announced Saturday night on Twitter that he had orally committed to the Terps: "I will be staying home and playing for my home state. I'm committing to University of Maryland!!! #GoTerps"

There's been something of a bumper crop locally for offensive linemen, with Class of 2014 commits Jared Cohen, Derwin Gray, Larry Mazyck and targets Damian Prince and Brock Ruble all hailing from the DMV, and Donahue, a 247sports.com four-star prospect, seems to fit that mold.
