At the conclusion of the Nike EYBL circuit, Potomac shooting guard Dion Wiley and Team Takeover sat at the top of the league.

With an invite to the Peach Jam up next, Wiley and his teammate have one goal in mind.

"We're No. 1. Our expectations are to win it," Wiley said before participating in the Mary Kline Classic last weekend.

The 6-foot-5, 200-pound junior is averaging 14.1 points and 2.7 rebounds, leading his team in points.

Wiley is already deep into the recruiting process and has cut his list to six potential suitors.

"I got six schools: Maryland, Georgetown, Florida, Miami, Indiana and Cincinnati," Wiley said.

As the local school, Maryland is at the top of the four-star guard's list.

"They've been recruiting me real hard, since Day 1," Wiley said. "I feel comfortable with their coaching staff. We really click.

"They're my No. 1 choice right now."

The No. 37 player in the 247Sports Comopsite Rankings has a plan to visit Maryland later this month. He shared the message coach Mark Turgeon and his coaching staff have been selling.

"They're telling me I can come in right away and make an impact as a freshman," Wiley said. "They've actually been calling me and [Mount St. Joseph guard] Phil [Booth] a package deal. I haven't talked to Phil recently about it though."

The Terps' message to Wiley is one that jibes with what he's looking for.

"I want a school where I can come in and help the team from Day 1."

Wiley also said he plans to visit Florida, Miami and Indiana this summer.
