Video: Injured Terps guard Seth Allen apparently back to shooting 3-pointers

Maryland men's basketball sophomore guard Seth Allen's timetable for a return to action is still uncertain, his much-anticipated season debut held off by a still-recovering fractured left foot. Will he be healthy in early January? Late January? Will he be ready when he does come back?

Those are questions for which Allen might not even have the answer. What we do know is that his rehabilitation is far enough along, apparently, that he can take (and make) 3-pointers inside an empty Comcast Center.

That video comes courtesy of an apparently brace- and cast-free Allen, who retweeted a Vine video Friday of someone recording his shooting practice. It's unclear whether Allen's treys came consecutively or were picked from a batch of 100 misses. No matter. The swishes are a good sign for Maryland fans, the majority of whom I'm sure would take a hobbled Allen in a game of H-O-R-S-E over starting point guard Roddy Peters and Varun Ram (River Hill).

Those two have a combined four 3-pointers this season, which, coincidentally enough, just so happens to be the number Allen makes in six seconds.
