After a pair of dominating wins on Friday and Saturday, DMV's Finest lost Sunday in The Basketball Tournament and was eliminated.
The Liberty Ballers used a well-balanced attack that saw eight players score at least seven points to top DMV's Finest, 85-73, to advance to the "Super 17."
DMV's Finest leaned on its Georgetown alumni — Austin Freeman, Chris Wright and Jason Clark — who combined to average 46.7 points over the three games.
The team, which advanced to the quarterfinals in a smaller field last season, was playing for the Zaching Against Cancer Foundation in support of former Maryland men's basketball manager Zach Lederer, who died last year due to brain cancer.
The winner of the tournament receives a $1 million grand prize.
